Team Overview
The Annalect Engineering team is an engaged and innovative group of technologists that includes backend, frontend, full-stack, and data engineers. It is comprised of both onsite and remote team members who are highly collaborative and committed to a culture of work/life balance and continual learning & development.
Position Overview
Annalect is continuously improving our technology operations to support our clients, agency stakeholders, and internal teams. As part of this expansion, we are seeking a self-driven and thoughtful individual to manage and expand our developer documentation portal. This role is essential to our continued platform evolution and investments in artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product owners, support specialists, and engineers to produce high-quality technical documentation for our applications and services (this could include user guides, technical API documentation, FAQs, system manuals, technical specifications, training materials, and more)
• Manage status of engineering documentation portal, ensuring developers properly document API and work with teams to improve the consistency and quality of documentation
• Writing content on how to use developer APIs, tools, libraries
• Creating high-quality and engaging L&D materials to demonstrate Annalect’s API and integration capabilities
• Edit, review, polish and update information from other teams and stakeholders into more presentable forms
• Perform ongoing updates to existing documentation to ensure they remain accurate and relevant
Required Skills And Qualifications
• 3+ years of technical documentation experience, with at least 2 years working on technical documents within the technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and apply them to clear, concise, and accurate technical writing
• Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills (e.g. release notes, API documentation and how-to guides)
• Ability to have and understand technical conversations with engineering and other technical teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take unstructured and loosely defined requirements and produce something useful and valuable
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with markdown and markup languages (e.g. HTML, XML, CSS etc.)
• Strong knowledge of technology principles, including APIs, SDKs, authentication/authorization, and programming languages

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$65,000—$75,000 USD
