Job Description
Position: Insights Analyst
PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF JOB
We are seeking an Insights Analyst to help grow our advanced analytics function. The profile involves working closely with offshore and onshore teams. Candidates will be required to exhibit their expertise in building machine learning models and handling data pipelines to solve challenging business problems.
Ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in developing end-to-end ML projects with sound knowledge of statistics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify right data sources and build data pipeline from multiple sources.
• Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct exploratory analysis on large datasets to identify and interpret trends or patterns.
• Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Present information effectively using data visualization techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer application, Mathematics/ Statistics or MBA in Systems/IT/Finance or PGD in Data Science with minimum 2 yrs. of experience.
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research.
• Experience in SQL, R, Python, Hadoop architecture, Sqoop, Pyspark and knowledge in basic shell scripting is desired.
• Experience in preparing data visualizations with Tableau.
• Sound knowledge in statistics and statistical modeling is required.
• Working experience in machine learning model development and deployment is required.
• Analytical mind and business acumen.
• Exposure to US Healthcare desirable.
