Join us today!Description SummaryThe Online Experience Specialist supports the continuous improvement of our Halstead tower’s online presence and new product selection, onboarding, and setup. The Specialist supports multiple platforms including, but not limited to, homedepot.com, homedepot.ca, QuoteCenter, and Home Depot PRO. The Specialist assists with marketing and promotional strategies and the quality of the online experience. Additionally, this person assists with creating, improving, and maintaining a range of content and has a mastery of knowledge of product specifications and current product offering.The Online Experience Specialist has extensive knowledge of customer setup processes and has ability to plan, organize and streamline efficiencies, assisting with any needs to complete projects and improve content. This includes, but is not limited to, planning, facilitation, data interpretation, analyzation and input, management and verification, project management, and organization.Reporting to the Online Experience Manager, the Specialist fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s operational efficiency and success. The external stakeholders include but are not limited to the following: Global Operations Analyst, Online Merchants, Marketing Analyst, Departmental Merchant, and the Product Development Merchant.ResponsibilitiesNew Item Onboarding and Setup• Arrange and/or request all required assets.• Assemble and verify accuracy of all required item data.• Collaborate with other vendor partners as needed.• Communicate new item information to internal teamsEstablish target launch date and reverse timelines.• Execute customer’s setup process; this includes completing various forms and using customer’s internal systems to enter data.• Identify and put in place improvements to new item setup process to increase efficiency.• Launch items on-time with accurate, complete, and relevant information.• Monitor all facets of setup process, flag any issues, or risks to on-time project launch and work to resolve these issues in a timely manner.• Work with internal teams to set up new items in internal systemsDigital Content Management• Adopt new opportunities and to enhance content.• Align physical product assets with digital assets.• Answer questions from customer regarding product offering.• Arrange samples for any customer or vendor partner needs.• Assist in developing new content and ensure it is accurate.• Ensure customer-facing content is complete, accurate, and relevant at all times.• Ensure discontinued items are identified and removed from front-end and future replenishment.• Identify improvements that should be made to content layout; work with customer to put in place.• Provide any item information required to customer and vendor partners; examples include product specifications, images, etc.• Review competitor data and leverage best practices, if applicable• Review customer feedback; use feedback to improve upon or add new content.• Set up new items on secondary platforms.Other Responsibilities• Aid in resolving any issues preventing sales orders being received or shipped out.• Assist in training customer service team on new product launch and processes.• Facilitate creation of artwork.• Initiate the creation of sell sheets and training material.• Maintain master product listings for supply chain, STIQ, customer service, and sales team.• Manage updates of Halstead website.• Organize and communicate project details and timelines.• Provide feedback on new designs in development and market trends in design.• Support in the development of presentations for meetings/reviews with customer.Knowledge & Experience• Experience working with Homedepot.com is required.• Advanced level proficiency in MS Office; extensive experience in MS Excel.• Demonstrated strengths in building close, trusting relationships with peer leaders and senior executives.• Effective time management skills.• Exceptional communication skills (editorial, oral, and written).• Must be flexible and able to multi-task.• Solid analytical and organization skills with an attention to detail.• Strong capabilities in leading/supporting organizational and structural change.Education• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred.• Equivalent # of years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Working Conditions• General work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST; additional hours (including evenings and weekends) may be required based on business needs.• Low to moderate degree of physical activity (lifting, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking) is required for this job.• Must be able to work in a professional office and as needed, in an industrial/warehouse setting.• On occasion, overnight travel required for industry and company events, and visits to key customer or partner locations. Daytime travel to other office locations, etc. may occur.
