About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned food manufacturing company with headquarters in New Jersey. They have over 1,000 employees across the U.S. They’ve been around for over 50 years and is a leader in the industry. The HR Manager will join a tight-knit, supportive HR team. They will report into the VP of HR, but they will be the only HR person in the New Jersey plant. The HR Manager must be on-site in Fairfield, NJ full-time, five days a week.
Job Description
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees.
• Responsible for day to day HR initiatives like benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development.
• Foster open communication channels within the organization.
• Provide guidance on conflict resolution strategies and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
• Must be on-site in Fairfield, NJ full-time.

The Successful Applicant
• 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
• The ability to go on-site 5 days a week.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Union experience is preferred.
