Requirements
Ability to read a ruler/ Measurements
Read instructions with understanding to pull materials needed for work orders
Manufacturing experience
Machine operation preferred but not required
Duties
Loads and unloads production material, equipment and supplies to and from trucks.
Moves production material, equipment, and supplies in and around the plant using various material handling equipment.
Stacks finished goods onto pallets by hand or with cranes, palletizes with cardboard corners and plastic strapping/banding, and stretch wraps completed pallet from the Marquip Sheeter, Embossers, B&C Slitter, CLS Slitter and Cable Wrap Slitters as needed.
Prints pad and pallet labels for B&C, CLS and Cable Wrap operations as needed.
Transfers slab waste from self-dumping hopper into vertical baler. Secures with wire, empties baler, and transports into US Granular recycle trailer.
Secures trim waste bales with wire before exiting Maren baler, and transports into US Granular recycle trailer.
Supports laminator operators by changing doctor blades, changing rubber/knurl/idler rolls, changing print cylinders, grinding rubber rolls, and mixing adhesive and lacquer coatings to established recipes.
Constructs custom pallets using drawings as required.
