Position Overview
As a Materials Manager at Zunch Staffing, you will oversee critical operations such as Planning, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Customer Service, and Trucking. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $130,000 per year, along with a $10,000 signing bonus. We provide a generous compensation package based on industry standards and your expertise.
Responsibilities
• Directing and overseeing all aspects of materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving
• Developing and implementing materials handling procedures to optimize resources and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Leading a team to support operational needs and improve efficiency
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and inventory control
• Familiarity with software systems such as JDE, AS400, Stratum, Manugistics, or JJ Keller
• Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in Excel
Competencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective organization and prioritization abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Comfort with physical tasks like lifting up to 35 lbs
• Capability to work well in a team environment and maintain safety practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the plumbing industry or consumer products
