As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Overview
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting new clients, and building strong relationships with customers in your assigned territory. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth, promote our products/services, and achieve sales targets. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused approach, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation techniques.
• Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to promote brand awareness and loyalty.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
• Present product/service offerings to potential customers in a compelling and persuasive manner.
• Negotiate pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the customer.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and support for customers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Experience
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight, within the assigned territory.
• Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
• Packaging sales experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
• Strong communication skills, written & verbal required.
