We are looking for a highly-motivated Product Manager who is willing to roll up their sleeves to build experiences, tools, and processes to keep the quickly growing eBay Live community safe. As a key member of the Core Experiences product team on eBay Live, you will work closely with data science and engineering to define and build experiences our Live sellers and buyers will rely on to detect and address trust & safety issues on the platform. You will also work closely with a cross-functional team of legal, risk, policy, and operations stakeholders to drive operational change within eBay. What you will accomplish:
• Become a thought leader in the live commerce space to develop and champion a product strategy for trust & safety through a combination of understanding customer needs, business goals, market trends, and competitor insights.
• Identify areas of risk to the eBay Live platform and make complex tradeoffs to define a zero-to-one roadmap of technical product enhancements.
• Roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to create policies, SOPs, and enforcement mechanisms and scale them across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Establish key trust & safety success metrics and report on product and program performance, insights, and risks to goal with eBay leadership.
• Influence risk and policy stakeholders across eBay to make the voice of the Live seller and buyer at the forefront of decisions.
What you will bring:
• 5+ years of product management or strategy consulting experience with e-commerce experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and make tradeoffs based on incomplete data
• Proven track record to define and execute on complex product roadmaps through cross-functional collaboration
• High levels of ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit to not only identify emerging problems but also address them in a fast-paced environment
• Alignment with eBay’s core values (customer obsession, innovation, and inclusion) demonstrated through driving results, collaboration, and using customer insights to inform product decisions
