The Global Services function provides professional management services to the firm, including the central operations of finance, information technology, risk, legal, operations and human resources.
Partner Services Group (PSG) is a blend of finance and human resources functions that primarily serves and supports the BCG Partnership and individual Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs). PSG is the custodian of the global framework that shapes incentives, via the design and execution of the annual performance evaluation process and compensation and equity programs for MDPs worldwide.
The PSG Senior Analyst is a position on the Partner Evaluation team within PSG. The Partner Evaluation Team owns, runs and supports annual Partner evaluation processes that shape Partner careers and value delivered via compensation and equity.
Partner evaluation processes are highly confidential and trusted by the Partnership and therefore rely heavily on significant analytical preparation, rigorous process management and tool support. The teams are responsible for significant career decisions impacting all BCG Partners and are highly visible, not only with individual Partners, but also with senior leaders of the firm, including the CEO.
You will be responsible for end-to-end analysis, execution and support to ensure the smooth operation of these processes.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
• Conduct analysis related to MDP evaluation process, both for the annual evaluation cycle and off-cycle initiatives
• Maintain records of MDP evaluation decisions, analyzing historical decision patterns and querying for specific requests
• Collect, compile, review, and organize performance data in response to key stakeholder requests
• Conduct analysis and review data to support system enhancements and testing for evaluation tools and processes, in coordination with systems team
• Review critical inputs and outputs in our MDP evaluation system; act as a custodian of the system’s data, ensuring the accuracy and consistency
• Create and maintain documentation capturing key elements of processes
• Learn and leverage advanced analytical/digital tools
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
We are looking for a well-rounded individual with sharp analytical mindset, willingness to learn and own processes; who is comfortable operating with complex, sensitive information and can work collaboratively in large global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Tableau and Alteryx. Experience with SharePoint and/or Egnyte a plus.
• Some experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization preferred.
• Willing to take accountability and ownership of projects assigned to them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain and protect confidential information. Maturity and discretion.
• Strong analytical mindset and desire to expand analytical toolkit; curiosity to dive deep into data to understand nuances in fact patterns.
• Ability to interact with and manage senior stakeholders’ expectations with a positive and responsive attitude
• Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Project management across multiple initiatives and priorities.
• Willing and able to travel domestically, and potentially internationally, few times a year.
YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will work directly with a PSG Senior Manager and be part of the broader PSG team. The core evaluation team includes a set of leaders each of whom has specific expertise and will be critical stakeholders in your operating model. You will also work with Officer Development Committee (ODC) operational team members across the globe who support and execute the MDP integration, evaluation and career development process.
