About The Position RN – Medsurg Location: Fort Wayne, IN Duration: Fulltime Description: Must have RN experience in Acute setting for consideration Multiple Medsurg department openings. Unit info is listed below! South: This unit is located at Client Regional Medical Center on the 1st floor. South has 22 beds, they are an acute care unit that cares for any kind of infection, complications from chronic diseases and comorbidities. North Extended: This is a 24 bed Medical Surgical unit. This unit primarily focuses on short stay surgeries (1-2 days) specializing in gynecology oncology, urology and procedural gastroenterology. This unit is a supportive environment for a new nurse to grow their nursing skills by learning to take care of a wide variety of patients or an experienced nurse who has a passion for these specialties. We have a great mentoring/precepting program, focused on teamwork, positivity and growth to support you in your nursing goals. South: This unit is located at Client Regional Medical Center on the 5th floor. Medical: This unit is located at Client Regional Medical Center on the 6th floor. Medical has 36 beds, they are an acute care unit that cares for any kind of infection, complications from chronic diseases and comorbidities. Surgical: The 5-Surgical unit is located on the 5th floor of Client Regional Medical Center. This is a 36 bed Med Surg unit with varying levels of acuity depending on the patient’s phase of recovery. The majority of patients are recovering from general surgery or colorectal procedures.
