The Sr Specialist of Sales Training will support the TMTT business unit to develop strategies in partnership with stakeholders (e.g., SME Healthcare professionals, U.S field sales force) and support commercial training programs and related activities to build effectiveness of US commercial field.
Role is open to hybrid (candidates local to Irvine, CA) or US based remote candidates. Travel required to various field and clinical sites.
How you will make an impact :
• Support key commercial programs that focus on field training in partnership with customers/HCPs
• Assess the impact of delivered programs against agreed competencies, recognize gaps and achievements (e.g., deploy recertification for all field force with image screening responsibilities)
• Develop digital training strategy and related platform and deliverable for field-based employees in collaboration with Training leaders and sales stakeholders
• Develop and ensure execution of training in line with learning objectives that meets compliance and corporate standards
• Generate status and completion reports and coordinate curriculum assignments for online training platforms
• Research and recommend new learning solutions and technologies
• Interact with management team to gather and analyze training needs
• Other incidental duties: Create budget reports for project spend. Recommend and develop process improvements. Track and ensure field sales employees meet ongoing compliance and business requirements.
What you will need (required):
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
• Minimum 5 years’ relative experience in Communications, Marketing and/or Training content development required
• Experience in medical device, pharma or clinical sales industry big plus
• Able to travel 20-25% (includes air and overnight travel)
What else we look for (preferred):
• Prior experience with instructional design and developing clinical/technical content highly preferred
• Experience as a trainer in a clinical or sales training function a big plus
• Thrives in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.
• Proficient expertise in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Demonstrated experience in facilitation and presentation leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of sales and/or field development training
• Ability to lead and influence change among various stakeholders
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $124,000 (highly experienced).
