Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cell Culture Expert and Lab Operations Lead to join our pioneering team. As one of the first employees, you will play a crucial role in shaping our lab operations and advancing our research capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human cell culture models, particularly hiPSC models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all cell culture activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and high standards.
• Maintain and optimize human cell culture models, including hiPSC models.
• Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Hire, train, and supervise junior staff, fostering a collaborative and disciplined work environment.
• Ensure the laboratory is organized, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the Founding Team on early operations and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• BA/MS with 7+ years of experience in relevant research support roles ideally in industry.
• PhD in a relevant field with 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience.
Technical Skills:
• Must have extensive experience with human cell culture models.
• Expertise in hiPSC models is a plus.
• Best laboratory practices, cGMP/production experience a plus.
• Interest or even experience in lab automation and/or coding.
• Plus if you have some molecular biology skills.
