Job Details
The Lead Software Engineer will focus on applying the principles of engineering to software development for the customer-facing portion of our applications. You will act as a Tech Lead and be involved in design, architecture, and coding in Ruby on Rails.
Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent education or work experience)
• Ruby on Rails (ideally 8+ years developing)
• Docker/Docker Compose
• Microservices
• PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming & Design
• Leadership and architecture/design experience.
Nice to Have:
• Golang
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with AWS tools and technologies (SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, ECS, ECR, S3, etc.)
• Worked in a Cloud-based large-scale system (SaaS/PaaS)
