What you’ll do
The Supply Chain Planner is the organizer behind materials in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) programs, including government contracts. They balance planning, NPI coordination, and program oversight, from early ideas to post-production. Think CTBs, ETCs, ECOs, BOMs, RFPs, month-end processes, and Work Orders – all while bridging subject areas and wielding ETO/FAR expertise. They’re like a materials maestro, ensuring smooth program flow. Ideal for those who love juggling and mastering sophisticated systems.
The day-to-day
• Be responsible for the materials plan for assigned programs, proactively identifying and closing supply gaps.
• Become an authority in BOM, MRP, and MPS, using them for accurate demand planning.
• Collaborate across departments – from production control to engineering and procurement – to ensure materials needs are met.
• Develop solutions to keep raw materials, sub-assemblies, and purchased parts flowing smoothly.
• Partner with engineering and program management to understand the manufacturing and material aspects of our builds.
• Continuously improve processes and manage inventory optimally, considering Just-in-Time and other relevant techniques.
• Demonstrate your data analysis skills to optimize outcomes.
What you’ll need
• Strong supply chain management experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of MRP, MPS, EAC/ETC, and Clear-to-Build principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Understanding of inventory management techniques like Just-in-Time.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Sophisticated Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1-3 years relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this US government position.

Salary range
$74,400.00 – $129,300.00 / annually
