About the job
The SAS Interactive Experiences development team within Solutions Factory is looking for a Sr. Associate Software Developer who can immediately apply their technical skills to build engaging interactive experiences that provide users with a positive and memorable impression of the company brand. Our team is unique because developers enjoy an unusual amount of creative input and tech stack freedom over a diverse portfolio of deliverables.
As a Sr. Associate Software Developer, you will:
• Build high quality, testable and scalable software solutions that satisfy functional requirements
• Participate in project scoping and scheduling, progress tracking, and frequent check-ins
• Follow a defined software process including unit testing and code reviews
• Maintain accountability for the entire product life cycle
• Reprioritize and adjust focus as needed to ensure deadlines are satisfied
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 1+ years of React and TypeScript experience
• Responsive website development experience
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Java, NodeJS, RESTful APIs, SQL
• Understanding of container development and deployment in a cloud environment
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with data visualization tools
• Basic knowledge of SAS product portfolio.
• Understanding of cloud-based application security concerns and solutions.
