The Director, Programs: Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion | Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management | Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions | Responsibilities are within the Project Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Major Position Responsibilities
• Directs and oversees corporate programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.
• Develops and implements program processes and policies, directs program management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
• Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
• Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
Basic Qualifications
Required Education: Associates Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Discipline/Major: Business Degree preferred
Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 8-10 years experience
Additional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Government Contracting & Negotiation (FAR clauses, TINA proposals, Weighted Guidelines, etc); International Business Experience (ITAR, FMS, TAA’s, MLA’s, Offsets, etc); AS9100 Quality System experience / familiarity. Ability to develop and mentor others. Management skills. Leadership skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Program management skills.
Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Pay Range (USD)
$153,562.50 – 285,187.50
Additional Compensation – ICP
Hired applicant will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Incentive Compensation Program.
