Roles & Responsibilities
• VMware, Windows Server, and hardware Infrastructure team lead
• Provide local and on-shore team lead functions including team meeting lead, customer meetings, working through customer projects and server support issues.
• Review new resumes and interview recruits.
• New team member mentor and guide for all Xerox contract SOPs.
• Assigning change, incident and service request tickets to team members and helping resolve issues when needed.
• Team escalation point where needed for customer support issues.
• Function as a general customer contact for people needing help and direction.
• Operational support engineer for all infrastructure platforms
• All Windows server platforms, up to Windows 2019.
• VMware environments, including VCenter and ESXi.
• Hardware support for Dell MX7000 environments and Cisco UCS.
• Includes creating cases and collaborating with vendor’s engineers on all hardware issues.
• Includes creating plans for and scheduling deployments of Dell MX7000 and Cisco UCS firmware.
• Functioning as general support contact and engineer for all Windows and VMware environments, regarding architecture, support roles, processes, technical direction.
• Perform Windows and VMware Architect functions where/when required
