Financial Compliance Specialist
Remote
Pay Rate $50/hr
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Immediate start. Tentative end date 10/30/2024 (Possibility of extension)
-POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Technical Writing (Policies/Procedures/etc.) – preferably compliance-focused.
-Conduct simple analysis of compliance policies/procedures.
-PowerPoint Presentation Development – Compliance Focused.
-SharePoint Filing/Record-Keeping/ILM Project Work.
-Meeting scheduling/coordination of calendars/documentation submission tracking to support audit activity
-SEC, Broker Dealer Compliance and FINRA Regulatory knowledgeable preferred but not required.
-Regulation W knowledge preferred but not required.
-The Compliance Specialist role helps to execute the risk management and compliance program. Under general direction, assist in the analysis of the company’s regulatory compliance posture and the developments of control recommendations.
-Makes recommendations as a resource and subject matter expert to other departments for projects, task forces and regulatory implementation. Analyzes, researches, and executes the preparation of deliverables as assigned related to federal and state regulatory exams, internal audits and projects, external audits, and enterprise-level controls. Analyzes and interprets regulatory compliance requirements in collaboration with the Line of Business and Compliance. Gathers, analyzes, interprets, and communicates statistics for related committees.
Executes periodic self-monitoring or testing to determine whether policies and procedures are being followed. Participates on projects as required.
Education and Skills Required:
Education/Degree: Bachelor’s Level Degree
