The candidate will have responsibility for site Lean manufacturing initiatives; planning sequence of operations and specifying procedures for product fabrication and product performance; monitoring current operations and determining more efficient production processes; mapping and analysis of value streams; managing and leading kaizen projects; identify and reduce inefficiency and waste, and overall ensuring that products are manufactured in a cost efficient manner while meeting the established quality standards.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Reading and understanding of Engineering drawings.
• Lead a cross functional project team.
• Generate technical documentation as well as to forge teaming relationships and partner with all levels of Operations and Manufacturing stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
• Typically requires a related university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in one of those areas (Industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Process Engineering) Or an advanced degree with 5 years of related experience.
• The Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Green Belt Certification.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment, methods, processes, and cleanroom work environment (Class 100); familiarity with various microscopes and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of SAP & Eyelit and MiniTab systems is a plus.
• Experience working on engineering level programs from conceptual phase, preproduction phase, to production build; designing control systems to reduce cost and manage production issues.
• Training and mentoring junior staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites (MS Project, Excel, Power Point)
• Oral & written communication skills
• Work with minimal supervision, good problem solving abilities as well as keen analytical and organizational skills.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD – 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
