Job Description: Congressional Campaign Fellowship
Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Congressional Campaign Fellow at Gay Valimont for Congress. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of political campaigns while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities:
• Field Operations Support: Assist with canvassing efforts, including voter outreach and engagement activities.
• Event Coordination: Aid in organizing and executing campaign events, rallies, and community outreach programs.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on policy issues, legislative matters, and opponent analysis.
• Social Media and Communications: Assist in managing social media platforms, drafting content, and supporting digital marketing efforts.
• Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support such as data entry, scheduling, and logistical coordination.
Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in a college or university program, or recent graduate preferred.
• Strong interest in political science, government, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Canva
