The Role
The Operations Technician I is a technician for customer/company network systems installation and/or maintenance activities. The candidate should have a basic understanding of telecommunications and data services, and will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing and resolving network related service issues. This role is a Hybrid position. Team members are required come in at least one day every other week, however that is at the discretion of the manager and the business unit. You may be asked/required to come into the office for trainings, meetings, and other significant functions.

The Main Responsibilities
• Works on relatively straightforward installation and/or maintenance assignments on network switching equipment.
• Monitors network operations and resolves routine network monitoring problems.
• Monitors network performance
• Conducts routine monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities
• Resolves routine trouble tickets.
What We Look For in a Candidate
• Associates’s degree or equivalent education and related experience
• 2+ years of related experience
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$38,119 – $50,825 in these states: LA
$40,500 – $53,500 in these states: FL
As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
