Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for monitoring productivity of the program by researching, analyzing, reporting, and resolving deficiencies in performance metrics. Also responsible for internal compliance reviews, analyzing and reporting findings, and resolving deficiencies in coordination with management team and program staff. In addition, research policy and performance questions and provide responses to ensure compliance and maximizing performance outcomes.
Essential Functions:
• Directs internal monitoring process, data collection and analysis, and reporting of findings.
• Coordinates with management team to monitor, evaluate and maximize program efficacy.
• Maintains system accountability for meeting standards established by Southwest Key Workforce and funding agencies.
• Maintains positive, open lines of communication with funding agencies to discuss quality assurance and performance expectations.
• Maintains data integrity requirement of SWK, New Mexico Workforce Solutions, Northern Area Local Workforce Development Board, and funding agencies.
• Coordinates, plans, and implements training to address compliance and performance issues.
• Creates and maintains reports, developing ad-hoc queries, creating sophisticated and effective custom reports, analyzes data and staff/team performance and works with leadership team to optimize results.
• Data entry and review of all files to be stored in board data bases (Laserfishe).
• Generate reports from multiple sources and integrate into summary reports.
• Analyze efficiency and functionality of existing reporting mechanisms and make recommendations for improvements as well as develop, implement and maintain new reports and tracking models.
• Act as system access administrator, ensuring security and updates are provided to all staff.
Other Functions:
• Travel to attend meetings, training, outreach, and other activities.
• Must be able and willing to telework as needed.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate degree (preferred), plus a minimum five years’ experience working with workforce programs, policies, and procedures. Also, must have at least five years working with workforce data systems/tools. Experience in management of workforce programs is also a plus. Experience may be substituted for degree, at the discretion of SWK. Maintaining a professional appearance and attire is required.
Preferred Skills and experience:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel software with ability to create written material spreadsheets in an accurate and timely manner.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated participant service skills, and familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Certificates and Licenses Required:
A valid New Mexico motor vehicle operator’s license and reliable means of transportation.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas.
• While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment.
• Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment:
Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and local travel, including exposure to heat, cold, inclement weather conditions, and occasional environmental hazards
