Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Provides active participation and leadership in team duties and responsibilities.
• Initiates and promotes changes to team processes to enhance automation.
• Execute daily maintenance tasks and proactive review of the production environment
• Work problem ticket queue and ensure all assigned problem tickets, Change Orders, and Change Requests are completed on time and to satisfaction of requestor.
• Assist with creation and collection of key system metrics
• Assist with creation and collection of key processes to collect application and system log data and proactively investigate
Qualifications:
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Experience in Mainframe
• Experience in Application support and troubleshooting, Application maintenance, monitoring and Build/Deployment.
• Production/Application Support of Java/J2EE based applications on Unix Platform.
• Experience in Oracle/SQL Server queries/reporting.
• Exposure to any of the Middleware/Application Servers WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, Jboss etc.
• Experience in Monitoring Tools Splunk, AppDynamics etc.
• Experience in reading or modifying SAS Data Step and/or SAS SQL Procedure Code.
• Should have Excellent analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills.
• Works well with partner teams and peers toward established goals and timelines.
• Works well under self-direction on assigned tasks
• Knowledge of other IAM tools is an added advantage.
