Summary:
Under general supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis to enable informed business decisions. Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. Uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via an increasing understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, and fact-based management to drive decision- making.
Job responsibilities and skills/abilities:
• Manages, tracks, and analyzes issues regarding data quality and identify trends requiring preventative and corrective action.
• Defines processes around and manage work required by other teams, ensuring clear requirements and prioritization
• Develops quality metrics and monitoring methodologies in partnership with Analytics and Engineering teams
• Communicates with partner’s business and technical teams on data best practices to ensure optimum data quality
• Collaborates with Analytics, Engineering, and Product teams to keep data standards and requirements up to date and enabled for new product offerings
• Provides operational insight, related to data quality considerations, to product team for future development of data related applications
• Produces company-wide metrics and executive metrics to promote the quality results, improvements, and gaps
• Defines criteria and methodologies for validating the data integration for a partner
• Assists with data mapping and low-code integrations
Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
• Experience working with data in an e-commerce, SaaS, or transactional environment including order and customer data
• Ability to communicate and transfer complex information in a simplified manner
• Expert in creating PowerPoint decks that clearly and concisely articulate an analysis into a story within the deck and when communicating the presentation
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with at least one scripting language such as R, Python or Stata
• Strong understanding of databases, spreadsheets, and general data transfer processes
• Experience with product analytics platform i.e. Amplitude, Heap, Pendo and working with engineers to setup the event tracking
• Able to work in an ambiguous environment
• Expert in SQL and ability to write queries for investigative purposes
• Utilize user segmentation analysis to categorize and compare product audiences
• Experience with project management and product development life cycles
• Proficiency using Business Intelligence and data monitoring tools i.e. Looker, Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Experience working with XML, JSON, and other formats of a product catalog
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or Finance.
Minimum Experience
Three to Four (3-4) years’ work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills.

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Annual Range: $93,040.00 – $139,560.00
