Job Summary
The DV Solution Consultant serves as a pivotal role within the Digital Velocity (DV) team at CDW, responsible for providing expertise in Digital Transformation services and solutions to drive business growth. Building upon the responsibilities of the Associate DV Solution Consultant, this role involves deeper engagement with clients, strategic planning, solution architecture, and driving successful outcomes for complex projects.
What you will do:
• Lead the qualification and triage of inbound opportunities, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
• Drive account mapping and strategic planning initiatives with key OEMs and CDW Sellers, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
• Deliver compelling DV pitches and articulate value propositions to diverse stakeholders including CDW sellers, OEMs, suppliers, and C-suite executives.
• Take ownership of project kick-off and close-out processes, ensuring smooth transitions and identifying additional opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate DV Solution Consultants, fostering their professional development and contributing to team success.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to exceed revenue and profit goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Lead sales administration efforts, overseeing pipeline management, forecasting, and the creation of comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) for end customers.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Digital Transformation technologies and methodologies, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging solutions.
What we expect of you:
Education and/or Skill-Set Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of experience in assessing business drivers and translating them into solutions.
• Experience in selling in a high-technology customer-facing sales environment.
• Deep technical knowledge in digital transformation solutions, including Cloud, DevOps, Software Engineering, DataOps, AI/ML, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of driving successful outcomes in a client-facing role.
• Exceptional ability to understand and communicate both technical and business concepts effectively.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to recommend innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Proven experience in leading meetings and facilitating discussions with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Expertise in collaborating with virtual teams and driving cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Digital Transformation technologies, including Cloud & Cloud Native solutions, Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, AI/ML, DevOps, and Consulting services.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
