Responsibilities
MV Transportation is looking for a Senior Management Recruiter – Public Transportation who will be responsible for sourcing external mid-level management and above talent to support Business Development bids and proposals, sourcing and recruiting for Corporate positions (Finance, IT, HR and Operations), and contributing to the external bench. He/she will also support the hiring process for Business Development and Corporate while managing the external pipelines for future talent demands.
Job Responsibilities:
• Source, screen, interview and propose top external talent for bids and proposals from Business Development to meet RFP deadlines
• Quick turnaround times are required at times
• Work closely with Business Development leadership on bids, proposals, and re-bids to conduct intakes and develop clear ideas of jobs and required skill sets for candidates
• Manage adding top talent to the external bench for Business Development and Corporate openings
• Establish communication updates with the Business Development and Corporate teams on recruitment progress
• Create a positive candidate experience, including setting up and implementing feedback loops for all passive and active external candidates
• Support company recruiting processes and act as a resource on all points of the recruitment cycle for Business Development and Corporate positions
• Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified applicants using traditional and non-traditional techniques including social media channels, passive sourcing, direct sourcing, networking, employment agencies, internet searches, postings, etc.
• Determine candidate qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
• Build relationships with Industry sources, such as schools with major Transportation programs, Community Sources, Professional Associations, Military Resources, and other resources
Qualifications
Talent Requirements:
• Minimum three (3)+ years’ experience in sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing in a professional environment
• Strong relationship management, selling, teamwork, communications, and organizational skills
• Must be able to manage relationships with high level passive candidates and internal executives, top notch interviewing skills and credible SME
• Experience with transit union environments highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to recruitment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be strong in Microsoft Office and familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems
• Prefer knowledge of common recruiting metrics and a track record of delivering and improving their outcomes (e.g., time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, etc.)
• Bachelors’ degree strongly preferred
