At Regions, the Financial Analyst gathers, organizes, analyzes, and communicates relevant financial information in support of line of business partners.
Primary Responsibilities
• Analyzes, consolidates, interprets, and communicates financial data
• Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
• Monitors business unit financial performance against plans, forecasts, and budgets
• Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plans
• Leads training and oversight of junior Financial Analysts
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field with four (4) years of experience with management financial reporting/analysis
• Or, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field with six (6) years of experience with management financial reporting/analysis
Preferences
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters degree in Finance
• Experience within a financial services industry

Additional Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Administering and Supporting Oracle DRM dimension / hierarchy Application
• Work independently to gather and perform all hierarchy and related dimension property updates.
• Ensure DRM hierarchies and dimension property values align with downstream system requirements.
• Work with downstream users to ensure requested hierarchy updates deliver desired outcomes aligning with established Management Reporting methodologies.
• Review, Analyze, Test and implement new functionality as rolled out by Oracle as part of their Releases
• Support DRM users outside of Finance to ensure effective application utilization.
• Implement Alternate Hierarchies
• Develop DRM automation.
• Manage and develop new integrations from DRM to Target applications.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
