Responsibilities
Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and understanding the results of the company from both a financial and operational perspective. Responsibilities include global planning and analysis of the business, as well as serving as a business partner to key members of the executive and leadership teams.
The Director of FP&A will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for the leadership and mentoring of the FP&A team. This individual will develop and maintain a metrics-driven infrastructure to drive profitability and support the continuing growth of the business. They will also be responsible for providing critical insights regarding growth and corporate development. The Director of FP&A will have at least two direct reports and be responsible for the development of a world-class team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Create standardized reporting packages such as:
• Weekly utilization reporting
• Booking and sales performance summaries
• Monthly reporting and recommendations package for the board of directors
• Various analyses to partner with practice leaders
• Perform forecast and month-end close activities.
• Compare actuals to budget month to month, quarter to quarter
• Analyze data and provide business recommendations based on data insights
• Support financial and headcount planning cycles for Synoptek
• Maintain headcount and financial forecast models, and perform budget vs actual analysis as it relates to:
• Bill Rate
• Utilization
• Changes in revenue outlook
• Overall P&L management
• Work closely with executive and leadership teams to develop budget, synthesize data and reporting
• Identify key opportunities to drive business impact through quantitative analysis, create investment cases for new initiatives and help leadership prioritize resourcing
• Maintain lender reporting and compliance certification
• Build and maintain relationships with board of directors and private equity sponsors
• Build and evolve reporting framework to improve visibility for investors

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university; MBA a plus
• CPA designation a plus
Experience
• Customarily has at least 10 years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Customarily has at least 7 years of experience leading and mentoring a team
• Experience with NetSuite and Autotask, a plus
• IT industry experience strongly preferred
• Managed Services Industry experience strongly preferred

Work is performed primarily in an office or remote environment; final location is determined by business need. May be subject to time constraints and tight deadlines. May require occasional travel.
Salary Range
The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range for Denver, Colorado applicants for this role is $172,047 – $210,421 with a median of $191,340. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
