Solution teams within the Digital Health & Medicine team are driven to ensure that every health system stakeholder is given easy access to the information and tools they need to manage the best possible outcome for patients.We seek qualified and committed individuals to join us in our mission to fulfill our company’s purpose as we advance breakthroughs that change patients’ lives by ensuring they have access to quality healthcare services and Pfizer’s medicines and vaccines.The Director, Commercial Execution and Development will be responsible for the execution of activities that enable development of commercial revenue generating opportunities, including business case development, developing comprehensive actions to execute development opportunities, initiate outreaches to support sales process, and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to support activities (product development, research and development, medical affairs, business development, legal, procurement, finance, program management).ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and lead the team through key strategic decisions for Pfizer’s Digital Health and Medicines (DHM) commercial activities.This position is responsible for actively managing commercial and other revenue driving opportunities with current and prospective clients consistent with the team’s strategic plan, including:• Work cross functionally to execute all related activities to activate a business opportunity including but not limited to: developing business cases, developing end to end process journeys to understand key stakeholders in the process, working with finance and operations to manage portfolio of opportunities within budget, understanding voice of the customer and translating into product needs.• Develop detailed project plans based on evaluation of end-to-end requirements in order to bring opportunities to reality• Manage DHM production goals through active participation in sales management process.• Monitor commercial activities using key metrics and prepares reports for senior management• Develops material for Digital Health and Medicines to act as a Strategic Advisor to Senior Leaders to promote growth, effectively navigate change, and demonstrate long term impact on the unit• Gather relevant information and coordinate activities for commercial and strategic assessments and commercial planning to support development of asset / technology platform• Leverage Industry knowledge to identify a pipeline of key strategic targets in the relevant marketplace that will promote business growth• Anticipate, and proactively assess pipeline, record & communicate relevant and timely company information that informs business development and sales functions about significant events• Uses in-depth knowledge of Digital Health and Medicines products and services. Analyzes the needs of clients and prospects in order to effectively recommend appropriate products or services• Leverage Industry knowledge to identify a pipeline of key strategic targets in the relevant marketplace that will promote business growth• Effectively collaborates with client service team, product team and senior management to ensure an excellent client experience.• Continue to develop and build new opportunities for growth with partners• Other duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS• 10+ years relevant healthcare experience with a bachelors degree; relevant experience includes working in or with commercial functions involving strategy and business development and/or strategic initiatives (e.g., marketing, commercial development, market access)• OR 9+ years relevant healthcare experience with advanced degree ( MBA/MS )• OR 7+ years relevant healthcare experience with a PhD• Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills, as evidenced by the ability to tee up the right questions, identify alternative scenarios, articulate resulting implications, and develop recommendations for decision-making or action• Proficient in use of analytical and reporting tools and techniques, with the ability to work with complex information and distill into a framework that helps facilitate decision making• Proficient in use of market research tools and techniques including CRM, database query and management, and use of 3rd party information sources• Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead with indirect authority• Exercises foresight and judgment in making complex decisions.
